Thoughts:
A slightly older character design that I'd always liked. I drew here in class maybe back in 2002 or so. When I felt confident enough with my watercolor skills, she was the second anime-style character I did. I decided to try mixing my usual inking technique with the watercolor so I could compare the outcome with the CGs that I do more easily - hence the inked outline in the drawing. It's not visible on the scan, but she was painted with iridescent paint on the leaf, and in her hair.
