Captain Izumi

Name: Captain Li Izumi
Occupation: Pirate Captain

History: Born the daughter of a merchant sea captain, Li stowed away on her father's ship as a young girl. By the time she was discovered on board, the ship was too far from England to return the child to her mother. The ship was bound for the riches of Asia, and by the time the ship arrived, the child Li had found her role aboard the airship. She had wormed her way into the crew, and over the years, learned everything there was to about flying and sailing. It was thus that Li grew up in the Orient. Her father was a master story-teller, sharing tales of the deep, of pirates and grand adventures. He wasn't himself a pirate... until tariffs and taxes began to put a stranglehold on the shipping business. On a return trip from Japan, he agreed to smuggle some goods... only to be caught and imprisoned. Li was left aboard his ship - and took charge of it.

Motivation: She flies for freedom, for adventure. She is a pirate for hire. Madness and Mayhem a Specialty. She enjoys stirring up trouble for the sheer pleasure of it, and especially enjoys annoying the powers that be.
