Unmei no Uta - Update!

June 29:01:20 AM

Finally got off my ass. I put up the paintings I finished in the last six months or so on Unmei no Uta. Also updated our sales page (slightly - we only added one new print, Earth) but we might eventually add more of our convention prints (bookmarks and defintion fanboy/fangirl and the 'sad chibi' series) later this summer.

Comiku Girls 88: Cosplay Judging

June 26:11:48 PM

The first time we ever entered a cosplay we were dressed as Yaone and Lirin from Saiyuki - with pointed elf ears and cut up clothing etc. Our judges. Were dressed as high elves. To say we felt rather pathetic and insignificant before them rather understates it. We really did look like their poor bastard cousins. The cosplayers of course were very polite and so forth... but it was very intimidating none-the-less.

Comiku Girls 87: Funny Looks

June 14:09:15 AM

I forgot what day of the week it was yesterday... It felt like a Monday. Or something.

Anyway, we return to real comics. And I really need to write more scripts because Li only has one left she hasn't drawn... We know where we're going, its just a matter of getting there... Or something...

Anyway this week's comic is another 'straight from life'. Ah the fun of taking the T in full costume including elf ears. It just seemed so much safer for the child's psyche to tell him that we were in a play rather than trying to explain that no, we were just two adults playing dress up in public. And technically we were in the Mascarade, and a skit is like a play so we weren't totally lieing.......

Comiku status

June 6:01:57 PM

The comic storyline will continue next week. In the meantime, this weekend i'm headed down to A-kon. I'll be wandering around either as Akabane (from GetBackers) or Card Captor Sakura. I'm thinking about trying to get into the masquerade. And I'll certainly be going to see Hakuei at the Penicillin Nano concert. Say hi if you see me :)
