New Comics (For Real)
April 26:11:13 AM Comic 95 - the end of our CosplayCon storyarc. The timing couldn't have been any more perfect - the weekend I am in Anime Boston, we are posting - in full color - our first Cosplay Mascarade skit from Anime Boston (reprised at CTcon).
Now we are back to our normal once a week update schedule. Those of you who were at AnimeBoston got a preview of our next couple comics, but it should be fun.

New Comics - or pretty close to it
April 17:12:47 PM About the time these comics were posted last year, I was in the final months of my dissertation. As a result, in order to continue posting the comics, they were posted for the large part without my really contributing much to the comic - which largely meant that I didn't ink the comics, I just posted them. So although the 'new' comics really start next week, in many ways, all of the comics are currently 'new' in the sense that they were never finished before we went on haitus. I hope you are enjoying them now in their final cleaned up and pretty version. Starting this weekend, the comics go full color. And Tuesday begins the first unposted 'old' comic and from then we will return to our usual Tuesday update schedule, with brand spanking new comics every week. Li has drawn all of the comics from now until the middle of July. And I have the comics colored into the beginning of May. Yes, you read correctly. Colored. Comiku Girls is going full color. It should be a fun summer.

April 7:10:46 AM And victory! The Reprise editing is done; all of the comics for April are loaded and ready to go. Number 95, which has been in my hands since October has finally been finished, and will mark the transition between New and Old comics. Today I'm going to work on the first of the new comics and the prints for Anime Boston.

April 1:12:41 PM I considered making some elaborate post about how Li and I had some great falling out and weren't going to continue making the comic, never mind finish the Reprise we are in the midst of... But really Just because it is April 1 doesn't mean you have to try to pull some elaborate thing. But I did figure today was the opportunity to pause a moment to post something Brand New in the midst of all the edited comics. We picked a random day to start the reprise, but in counting, we will post comic 94 on a Sunday, so we decided to post 95 on the usual Tuesday... which meant we had one day that needed something... Rather than putting that one day randomly in the middle of a greatly revised story arch in the middle of April, I decided to stick it in today, so that 94 will continue directly into 95 the next day without pause.
The Reprise will continue tomorrow, but today I offer you Li Izumi and Akiko Meigetsu, your anime cultural panelists... Drinking Tea in our Kimonos. Of course while Li's Kimono really is red, mine is not yet constructed and white rather than violet... but our comic convention is to put me in violet.

On the wednsday before april first a local radio station anounced that, due to legal issues, they would no longer be playing breaking benjamin.
Breaking ben was from this area so the public generally threw a fit as this station was the only one playing them (being the only rock station).
The station offered that listeners go to the website and sign a petition or simply look over the situation in print.
upon visiting the site a recording of one of the band members of breaking benjamin played, saying "april fools".
That's what my april fools day was like.
