|
Blue Seed is the story of Momiji, a seemingly normal school girl who grew up at her family's shrine. Of course, she is not a normal girl, she is the Kushinada, and she has the power, with her death, to put the monster-race (Arigami), to sleep forever. The story essentially starts as Momiji rushes off to school, and is met by a strange boy, Kusinagi, who tells her he is going to kill her. He is scared off and Momiji meets the members of the TAC, a special agency which fights the Arigami. The TAC arrived to protect Momiji after the disappearance of the twin sister she never knew she had. The day only gets weirder. At school, Momiji is attacked by an Arigami. Kusinagi, the same boy who told her he was going to kill her, becomes her defender. After the destruction of her school, the TAC takes Momiji to Tokyo to protect her. As the story progresses Momiji learns about her destiny, and helps the TAC fight the Arigami. Between battles, Momiji tries to be a normal girl.
